Original Italian Pizza & Restaurant

OK, here we are on a rainy Tuesday. Up in Haverstraw getting my license renewed. Since it was the only place that had an appointment now. But that’s OK, just got back from our 50th boys trip to Puerto Rico. And it was amazing. And I figured since I’m up here, I might as well get in a good pizza review. Now I have to say, I do have high hopes. It looks really good, and the place is called original Italian pizza. So let’s go. It’s piping hot. But all good. It’s nice and crispy. Nice amount of cheese, good taste. Good sauce. Crust is nice and crispy. It is a tad greasy, but that’s OK. I would like to try a fresh pie. This does have that slight reheat taste. But again, good all-around pizza.

They really promote using Slice to order at this joint. Its honestly a good pie. The sauce is good, not so much grease and flop, the normal amount for a NY slice. Thin, with a crunchy crust

Just always so good. Always so fresh. The Grandma is so different but SO FREAKING GOOD. As is the plain, Roni, all of it. Always.

Pretty good cheesesteak pie. Service was respectful during covid-19 times

Outstanding, went with the Grandma pie tonight. Regular is an 8.1, White is my favorite 8.4

Solid slice. Not as crispy as I like but has a good sauce and the cheese was on point.

Good counter slice. Little heavy and floppy. Very tasty and sweet sauce. Quality cheese.

Your average slice. Not too good and not too bad. There could be a little less sauce on the slice, and could definitely be cooked a little less.

Doughy. Sauce I liked but it was only ok overall.

Very floppy. Might have been a fluke.

Decent slice, lots of flop, greasy but enjoyable.
