Ok Frankie, pizza review time. Im in Sayre visiting my sister as she gets her gall bladder ripped out. While shes on a liquid diet eating chicken broth and jello, i figured id sneak down and destroy my guts on some pizza. This was surprisingly good. The ratio of cheese to sauce and dough was close to being spot on but lacked a smear more sauce. I understand why they dont load it up with sauce, its not great, too much oregano taste to the sauce on that cheese slice. The cheese was good though and the dough was fine. The flavor and texture of the dough lacked a little character or flair but it was crispy none the less and i liked it. Id rate the cheese slice like a 7.2. The Margherita slice was better, a little less crisp because it was loaded with a rustic chunky tomato sauce. The basil was delicious and the cheese was good. I wish theyd put smaller pieces of the cheese because fresh mozzarella likes to get rubbery once it starts cooling off and you pull that whole piece off when you bite it.. smaller pieces of cheese or serve it to me a little hotter. Maybe i should of eaten that slice first. 7.7 on the Margherita.
