Alright, a little hole-in-the-wall mom-and-pop shop. If you blink, you might miss it. Dave’s Pizza app gave it a 7.1, but you are not here for the app score. You’re here for my score.
It’s got flop, not too much though. Just right. If it were more greasy, it would be an issue. Slightly thicker slice so a good undercarriage and some crunch. That's what you're looking for.
Flavor is decent! Heavy on the mozzarella. It's almost like mozzarella's trying to steal the show. Sauce could use a little more flavor, a little more zip.
This is your classic blue-collar pizza. And that makes sense. Stewartstown’s got that vibe. Orchards, railroads, people walking around in slippers… This is the kind of pizza you grab after a long day of work. You’re tired, you’re hungry, you don’t care that it’s a little mozzarella heavy, you just want something that gets the job done.
All in all, not a bad pizza. It’s not blowing my socks off, but it’s definitely not disappointing either. You want a no-nonsense slice in a no-nonsense town, you get Original Italian Pizza. I’m giving it a 6.9. It’s good, not great, but it’ll do the job when you’re slinging back some beers watching the Steelers with the locals.
