Because me and Elroy were tired of over priced and quite frankly lackluster hipster pizza. We went with a classic. A Mr. Canarsie approved classic, Original Pizza on Ralph Avenue. Been there since the 50s. You walk into the place it’s like walking into Sal’s Famous from Do the Right thing. Elroy was very comfortable ordering extra cheese on that mothafucka. This is great pizza for the price. 23 dollars. and they ain’t doing anything special. No Sour Dough. No Burrata. No five different cheeses. Just plain old fashion great pizza. You hear that you culinary art school rejects? Also another place that doesn’t have a social media following. They ain’t out there making videos and trying to be personalities. Ya got 5 Mexicans behind counting slinging pies. That’s it. Big slices but also lite. You aren’t gonna be walking around feeling like the pizza pig afterwards. Also like I said this is the type of place you can bring your all black baseball team to after the game, just as long as you settle your bets with Duffy and place with them with Fink. If you don’t like this review then go read some guy who loves taking up for small business and running bad feast.
