Pizza Review
I wanted to go here for years, after finding out it's one of the oldest places in the country and it also has a very unique style. I had very high hopes for this, as any place that can make it for over 100 years, has to be good! The dough had a nice crunch to it but was also nice and chewy. I enjoyed the sauce and whatever herbs in the parmesan they sprinkled on top as well, the issue is that the cheese wasn't melted anywhere near enough for my liking. I couldn't imagine getting a pizza with toppings, as I don't think they would be cooked in the same manner as what most people are used to on pizza. You also have to let the pizza cool for a minute or the sauce will drip all over the place. Definitely not a good first date spot, if you're planning on ordering their Pizza anyway LOL The walls are covered with old photographs of the prior owner and pictures of the restaurant from years past, which was neat to look at while waiting for my pie.
