So this place is hit or miss. I’d say it’s also a far cry from the Portland ottos that was in my neighborhood.
I lucked out cos today the slices were good. Crispy, chewy crust. No flop. This is a very light style. The sauce is tasty and has a bright acidity and zip but it’s in pockets rather than all over.
The saving grace is definitely the texture of the first bite. That loud crunch is just so satisfying.
