Yes a place that does pizza by the slice! Good NY style for Mentor, OH for sure. Best NY style best in NE Ohio I’ve had so far!

Biggest pizza I’ve ever had. Very solid New York style. Thin but not too thin. Crispy on the bottom. Good sauce seasoning.

P&p’s brings the heat. Not from New York, Ohio Born and raised, but outside of NYC I don’t think I’ve ever had a slice that resembled the real deal as much as this place. Best New York style pies in NEO in my opinion.

Fantastic NY style pizza - very consistent pizza.

Very good pizza, thin, crispy, good sauce, good cheese, little bit of oil, good slice.

This one certainly had potential and it hurts me to write such a fair review. The cheese was VERY good, but that crust was like cardboard. This was an average pizza at best.

Undercooked, sauce tastes from a jar, little greasy, average pizza

It’s not a bad pizza. It’s just alright. The dough is meh and is actually pretty bland. Not crisp enough for me personally. Big flop, I don’t mind that. Cheese is fine, sauce is fine. The herbs are a nice touch. It’s local so I’m not gunna score lower than this, but my fellow Ohioans really don’t know much about pizza at all. It’s not our fault, we just don’t have enough of the right people who know how to make it as good as New York or Chicago.

I ordered the Medium (16") NY Style Thin Crust, cheese only ($12.95). They took my order and 20 minutes later, I took the picture. There was some cheese oil on top but not much. I waited a couple minutes so I didn't burn my mouth. The first piece pulled away nicely with all the cheese on the slice. There was no flop and the dough was thin but slightly crispy. The first bite was what I came here for. It was what I imagined a NY slice would be since I've never been to NYC and Ohio style pizza is generally more doughy and thicker crust, but I like thin crust. I ended up eating 3 pieces and enjoyed every bite. If you like pepperoni rolls, you should probably try theirs, an 8.7 on that freshly rolled and baked masterpiece ($7.95)! Customer service was excellent and they even walked my order over to me while I was seated waiting for the order.

Went there because it was rated an 8.5 on here so had high hopes and sadly it was not in the 8’s. Was a little greasy but not to the point it effected the taste. Good crisp and not too doughy. First slice was very big flop so toppings came loose. Didn’t help that it wasn’t cut very good. Slices after that had no flop. Simple pie nothing on it overwhelms you and sticks out which is good. You can taste the herbs. Ordered a large and it had 12 slices for 2 people and we each ate 5 and are full. Service kind of sucks. No customers were there when I got there and about a half dozen workers were sitting around a booth and one ran to the register while the rest kind of stared at me like I inconvenienced them or something. Worker seemed irritated when I double checked the pizza before paying. None the less the pizza was good especially by Ohio standards. It reminded me of some small town places back east only when you go to them you’re treated like family not a inconvenience. So go there if you want a good pizza in the area. Just don’t expect much customer service

New ownership but still the same pizza

Incredible pizza. One of the best in the greater Cleveland area. Will certainly drive the 30 mins to eat here again.
