Paesano Pizzeria

I had zero expectations from a pizzeria in a pizza wasteland like rural north Jersey; and to no surprise, they were not exceeded. Incredibly thick, extremely doughy and extraordinarily cheesy, this is a super heavy pie. The pizza is so salty, it tastes like someone dumped an entire salt shaker on the pie. I can hardly taste the flavor of the sauce through the extreme saltiness and nauseatingly thick cheese. The crust is equally thick & doughy and basically tasteless. This is pretty much par for the course in an area that isn’t exactly a pizza paradise, frequented by people who don’t know any better.
