Paesan's Pizza & Restaurant

Not terrible, but not fantastic. This pizza is the prime definition of what the youngsters would refer to as “mid”. I can imagine the average working class family eating this for their pizza night. Just picture it, mom and dad are working their 9-5s while the kids are at home. The older sibling forgets to take the frozen chicken out of the freezer and chaos ensues when parents get home. In a last ditch effort to resolve the dinner fiasco, mom calls Paesan’s to get some affordable and quick pizza. At the end of the day, this establishment is reliable and you know exactly what you’re getting.

Bacon chicken ranch. Great crisp and 0 flop. Very good flavor.

This is a solid slice of pizza that holds up in any market - Albany, Brooklyn, or New Haven. Great undercarriage, no flop, great flavor. In no way does Paesan’s deserve below an 8.

Not amazing but had a great crisp to it, maybe slightly burnt but I like it that way.

I’m from Long Island. I love pizza (obviously) and have had some good ones. This is really good pizza. Surprising to see such good pizza up here. One bite, great crisp, awesome cheese, good sauce.

Little greasy. Great cheese. Great crisp. Minimal flop.

My college pizza place which I remember being better but i will attribute it to the slices not being fresh. Great amount of cheese and flavor. Sauce has a sweetness to it with the addition of carrots incorporated into the recipe. Dough has a good crunch and it’s the perfect thickness, not too thick at all.

Good slice. Mild sauce. Cheese is good. Good crust.

Lotta flop. Very doughy and greasy. Not good

Solid pizza. Solid flop. Solid ratio. Very city like. But greasy. One of the better spots I’ve found in Albany.

Pizza was very cold and was rushed to get out of the restaurant. Score this high Bc I was very hungry.
