Pagliai's Pizza

I’ve been eating Pagliai’s since the days of roaming Iowa City. I love the sauce for its special tomato flavor. The crust is the second facet of this awesome pizza and second no other.

They did not make the pizza as they forgot to. No delivery, no pizza! Terrible service!

So hot I burned my face off. Tried meat lovers, thin crust. Wife complained about a lot of beef and sausage. Decent but wouldn’t do meat lovers again.

One of the best in Iowa

At first it was a really sharp looking pie and my eyes thought that a new high score was going to be coming up but sort of like orlondos I was a little disappointed. They did cut it and try and go so they have that part right but the cross was really rubbery. Definitely a heavy pie and it is very filling. Sausage slice was a little better than the cheese. I think if a different cook would have done the crust it would have really good potential. Cheese was good but like the other reviews of sauce could use more taste.. Duke my dog gave it a 10. One bite everybody knows rules. I would like to try it again with different crust. I'll probably go with a 7.1 pretty standard score. That's a review ✌

Good crust and sauce but the sauce lacks some zest.

Good crunch on crust , ok sauce. A little greasy but good cheese , the crust could have more flavor. All and all its a solid pie .

Tasty cheese. Pretty doughy and sauce could use a little kick. Overall it's pretty good still.

Best pizza in Iowa hands down..
