Palermo's 95th Italian Cuisine

$25 for 14 inch half pepperoni/half sausage. Again, crust was a little too thick for my liking but there are a lot of things I do like about this pizza. Pepperoni under the cheese, tasty sausage, sweet sauce and good timing with well done level. I would put this in the 8s if the crust was a little thinner. Very thankful they served this pie on Christmas Eve.

Haven't been here since 1991. Was told Palermo's is the place to go. We'll, from what I remember, this place hasn't changed. Pizza was soft and doughy. Sauce was kinda bland, crushed red pepper was old and stale. Cheese has a bitter taste. All in all, I'll never come back. Wasn't good in 1991, and still the same. Chicago pizza isn't what it used to be.

Solid. Sweet sauce like Sicilian sauce. Quality cheese with little oil. Soft pillow crust while retaing a thinness.

Palermo’s is a staple South Side Chicago restaurant, and after having their pizza, I can see why. The flaky crust was perfectly thin, and was a perfect vessel for the cheese and sauce. The sauce itself is sweeter than your average pizza sauce, but the taste will have you wanting more. The cheese was well done, and one can tell that this establishment uses high quality ingredients. Like most restaurants on the South Side, the restaurant has a very old school vibe to it. With that being said, this pizza is a must try and worth the drive!

Great thin crust pizza! Go with the extra thin.

I really enjoyed this. Sweet sauce but wasn’t over bearing. Chicago tavern style spots need to be judged based on their sausage pizza not cheese. It elevates the pizza to something completely different.

This is easily one of the best Pizzas I've had! From the delicious sweet sauce to the flakey/ crackery crust, it's all so good! It's a great experience overall! Therefore I'll give it my highest rating! I don't believe Davey did it justice!

The best pizza in the area by far! Not sure why it has an average rating so far... Come WAY out of our way to come here every time we are in Chicago. Slightly sweet sauce, great flavor, and a fancy environment! The bread appetizers are great too! Must eat if you are in the area!

This is from the Revival location in the Loop. Good flavor, lotta mozz, tasty sauce, but thick crust. Reminds me of Rosati’s slices.
