Solid Tomato Pie !!

Excellent slice. Lived up to the hype but not an 8

Drove about to hour to hit Palermo’s; well worth it. The tomato pie is probably the best I’ve had in NJ so far. I’ll definitely make up excuses to be in this area more often.

Definitely worth the 30 minute trip to Bordentown. Razor-thin crust with almost no flop. Ate 5 slices and felt like I could run a marathon. The sauce was a little too sweet but still very good.

We drove out of the way to try Palermo’s due to the high ratings and it didn’t disappoint! The crust was so thin and crispy with great taste. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect for the tomato pie. The sauce was on the sweet side, if there would have been less sugar added it would’ve been amazing.

We ordered a large tomato pie with sausage and a large tomato pie half mushroom. Excellent crust, cracker crisp, thin, no flop, good char. Sauce was on sweet side and pleasant tasting. Mushrooms were fresh, sausage flavor was underwhelming but thankfully it was crumble/lump style, not coins or strips. All around delicious pies, worth the trip with attentive wait staff.

Standard pie is thin but has a good amount of flop. Tomato pie had super crisp . I agree with Dave on if you combined the two you’d have a great pie but as it sits 7.4 standard and 7.8 tomato pie

Tremendous pizza and crunch. Go for the tomato pie

This is the tomato pie. It’s a thin crust pizza. Very good flavor in the sauce. Over all great pizza. I would drive 3 hours for this pizza.

Far better in person than delivery

The sicilian was terrible 4.2 The regular has a great sauce 8.2 This place is terrible at getting slices took forever had to ask multiple times

Amazing crust the tomato pie and cheese were spectacular!

Looks fabulous, here goes. The thin crust, the sweet sauce and the char is jammin. This is a different level. Sauce is sweet and above average. The ratio of cheese/sauce/dough is perfect on this tomato pie. I could destroy a small pie no problem. Great job! My third grade teacher, Ms. Ward, from Farrell Elementary school once said, “Pay attention to detail”. Th execution and taste are a clear indication of attention to detail. Ms. Ward would have been impressed. Great stuff.

Had tomato pie and also same w Mushrooms. Both spectacular stuff here if you have not tried trenton tomato pies you are missing out. Thin and crispy and a sauce w tomatoes has a little sweetness and just the right amount of cheese not too much. This is the perfect everyday pizza !! I grew up in NY w little vincents etc more cheese more substantial slices and thought that was the ultimate but man I am now a south jersey resident and found my jam!!! Trenton Tomato Pies!!

I was in there only weeks after Dave’s review and the owner looked exhausted at 1130 am. The business is booming! As far as my review, I found this to be superior pizza. I liked it more than The big names in Trenton and I think Dave is just giving everybody that is great an 8.1 or 8.2. I think this pizza is right up there with the top echelon. Top 10 on my list.

We tried the tomato pie and the regular pie. We both preferred the tomato pie. I asked for it well done and thought it still could’ve stood another minute in the oven. Very good pizza. I would pass on the regular pie.

Ordered the Tomato Pie well done. The outer crust was nice and crunchy, however the slice itself was super floppy. Didn't hold up at all.

Thin and good crust. Nothing crazy with flavor on the sauce honestly. But you really come here for the tomato pies and not the plain slice.
