Grandma Pie - Picked up. This rating is for their Grandma Pie only. I must have orders this pie a dozen times over the past year. Other pies there were good, but this one stood out to me. It’s a thin crust with fresh mozzarella, and I usually get it with meatball and black olives. The ingredients are of excellent quality and they always cook it perfectly. The crust has a unique crunchiness to it that holds even when it’s not piping hot. The sauce is kind of plain and I wish it had more of a tang to it, but overall, to me this pie is one that I crave for at times. I wonder if the oven in this place is the same from the old Pal Joey’s that was there from my childhood. Pizza preference is very personal and my personal score for this Grandma Pie is 9.1
