Grandma Pie - Picked up. This rating is for their Grandma Pie only. I must have orders this pie a dozen times over the past year. Other pies there were good, but this one stood out to me. It’s a thin crust with fresh mozzarella, and I usually get it with meatball and black olives. The ingredients are of excellent quality and they always cook it perfectly. The crust has a unique crunchiness to it that holds even when it’s not piping hot. The sauce is kind of plain and I wish it had more of a tang to it, but overall, to me this pie is one that I crave for at times. I wonder if the oven in this place is the same from the old Pal Joey’s that was there from my childhood.
