After living out on the East Coast for nine years, and eating in NJ and NYC, I must say that Papa Angelo’s Pizzeria truly embodies the essence of East Coast pizza. This pizza, along with the best East Coast pizza I’ve ever had, will serve as my benchmark for evaluating all the pizzas I’ll encounter in Oklahoma City. If you want to know what East Coast pizza tastes like, then come here. I can't wait to come back again.

Nice crust. Has a little flop and zero char but makes up for it with a uniformly golden and crunchy edge. Not overly saucy. Pretty good NY style.

Great NYC style pizza for Oklahoma. Only reason it's not ranked higher: I'm sure there is some great NYC style pizza in NYC that blows OK away. Some flop, marginal crisp but good sauce and tasty crust. Will be my go to NYC pizza in OK.

AMAZING!!! I don’t understand the lower scores unless the slices are very different. I was really shocked how good this was. Crust was perfect!! Sauce was really simple and played well. Good cheese and not overly greasy. For Oklahoma one of the top pizzas I have had. I am reserving anything higher than a 8.5 for New York and New Haven top dogs but one of my favorite in OKC for sure!!!

Sauce was decent, crust was tasty. Little flop. Took forever, they told me 18 minutes for a medium cheese and it took 35, and then it wasn't hot. They weren't that busy at all, and i saw at least 5 workers. I've had them before and really liked it, but that was over a year ago.
