I’ve never been to New York and I’ve rarely had New York style pizza. Also, I was with my bride, so she would’ve been annoyed if I had gotten just cheese for the purpose of a review. All that being said, I’ve seen a couple hundred of Davey Pageview’s reviews and I’m pretty sure I can almost taste his pizza every day. This was a nice thin pie with a decent crisp. The sauce had a nice tomato-ey tang. A little zip if you will. Definitely better than any pizza we have back home in flyover country. I think Portnoy would give it a 6.2, for me it’s a 6.6. I’ll be back to Papa’s on my next beach trip.

let me start by saying that for beach pizza, this is a good pizza . In the overall pizza landscape, average. Crust had too much dough but still had a little crisp. Not sure if i would eat again. Would recommend over a dominos, Pizza Hut etc…

Decent slice. Could use a little more time in the oven. I like a good crisp. Had more grease than I'd like to see. I wouldn't drive to pick up, but would eat it again if I'm ever back in pensacola.

Thus is by far the best pizza I’ve had in the south. This could be pizza we’d order back in CNY and be happy with. The biggest knock is the saltiness but it’s not that bad

Huge slices if you get the XL. Great taste. Could eat this kinda pizza everyday.
