A little greasy, but sauce was really good & perfect crisp on crust.

No flop what so ever! This was a more thin slice, but the undercarriage was cooked to perfection. The sauce was sweet and the cheese was just right. It was not very oily and not dry at all. The crust was very crispy. The thing that got me was their mustard pie! Yes, a mustard pie. The spicy mustard and the sauce was a party in my mouth. The owners grand daughter highly suggested next time getting the mustard pie with sausage. I was going to go back anyway, but now that next time can’t come soon enough. Fantastic experience!

The crust is thin and crispy without being too thin. The sauce is tangy and lets you taste the flavor of the tomatoes without being too sweet. There’s almost no grease and the cheese is very flavorful.

Very good crust, cheese and tomato sauce, which goes on top of the cheese.

Hey now. Thats is a good pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. The under carriage was crispy and strong, slight tip flop because of the extra sauce I ordered. Tasty thinner crust, but not doughy. Good flavor. Cheese was not sweaty and greasy. Also a good flavor. But the star here us that sauce. Excellent. Tangy robusto. Indeed strong enough to make me crave another bite. I drive 35 miles for thus one, and do it again. Dave your review was on target here...ps better than the joint down the street.

Had the regular and the mustard pie. The flavor of the mustard added zing to the flavor the regular. Good crust and sauce. 7.7 for the regular, 8.1 for the mustard.

Review 211 I have wanted to try for a long time but I’m never in this area. But today thanks to KEVIN I was able to and this was a damn good pie. Heavy on the suave with chunks of tomatoes extremely good crisp. The tang in the sauce was a bit much for me but great pie overall.

Having opened in 1912, Papa’s is one of the founding fathers of the tomato pie. This legendary joint is one of my local favorites. The pie has a nice tang and crisp with no flop. Definitely recommended for any lover of pizza/tomato pie history!

A good sweet sauce, a solid crunch to the crust. But what you come for is the mustard pie (my son's all time favorite anywhere, and he is picky). The mustard goes under the cheese, and then sauce on top which gives it that crunch while still being nice and thin. Mustard on a pizza sounds intimidating, but really it's no different than mustard and catsup on a burger. It works.
