Papa's Tomato Pies

Drove about 90 minutes to try this pizza and we were not disappointed. This area of New Jersey is known for their tomato pie. It’s more dollops of sweet sauce than an entire base of sauce. Crust was very crispy with no flop, and this is right up my alley. Definitely recommended to try at least once.

My family loved it! Thin and crispy, zero flop. I like a saucy pizza so not really my type. The bites that had sauce were very good!

Great pizza, a first for me trying a pizza with mustard on the bottom, the toppings the tomatoes sauce on top. It was a great environment. Undercarriage could be a little more crispy, but the pizza crunched when biting unto it. Enjoyed the small family old school Italian feel inside. Was great service and cost was more than affordable.

A really unique pie with a great crispy/chewy crust and tomato forward sauce.... Perfectly cooked and definitely worth a trip 8.4 🤤😋🤤

Eating this in the parking lot in my car and just wow. This is on a short list of the best pies I’ve ever had. The tomato sauce is incredibly fresh and sweet, the crust is thin and crispy, giving you a monster crunch in each bite. High quality ingredients and high quality taste. Check this place out

Don’t know if I can ever go back to a plain pie after this mustard masterpiece. It’s not an overwhelming taste like one would imagine, rather it comes in as the closer like Edwin Diaz after a shut out by ace. A frickin overall exquisite place and pizza pie.

pizza was aightt the lady had a big ass booty but that shit was probably fake because while she was walkin her fake boobs fell off and when she was bending down i saw a little tag that said fake big booty underwear so i dont know

Went down to Bumblefuck NJ for some pizza and it was pretty good! Crust was a little bland but sauce to cheese ratio was good and the bottom had nice structure. ** The mustard pie was not as good and tbh I’m lucky the ancestors didn’t strike me down for eating mustard on pizza

Great under carriage. Crisp in every bite. Tomatoes were excellent. Cheese was uniform.

Spicy mustard pizza. Weird to say but amazing to eat. This pizza was cooked perfect, crispy, thin, great sauce blend. Worth traveling

I come all the way from south jersey just for a pizza 🤌🏼 their mustard pie is pretty good too if you like mustard! Nice thin and crispy! Good undercarriage and no flop 👏🏽 gotta get a cannoli for dessert too😉

I always get the sausage pizza. Sausage is home made.

This was my first time at Papa’s. I just had to get the mustard pie. It blew me away. My family had never heard of it before and questioned my decision. I told them it’s gotta be good, they’ve been here for almost a century. Well I was right. This was worth the hour drive. I put it right below Delorenzo’s which is right around the corner.
