If this is Parsippany’s best, I’d hate to try their worst! The only reason I’m being so hard on this pizza is the SEVERE lack of sauce; this is practically a white pie without the ricotta. The splotches of red near the crust are the only remnants of any kind of sauce, which is a real shame because it seems to have some nice flavor and is very tasty. When spreading the sauce, use a bigger ladle or if you have to double or triple ladle on the sauce, don’t be shy. The cheese is thickish, pretty standard, generic pizza cheese, totally unbalanced because of the lack of sauce. The dough is actually delicious, firm, fairly crispy, packed with more flavor than the other ingredients; it’s the one thing that really gives this pie hope. Add significantly more sauce and this pizza could level up as high as low 8s, officially being able to boast best in Parsippany.
