Pizza Review
Right down the road from Lesnefsky’s but still not sure if there’s any relation to my old buddy Chris. The round seems to be the go to here and it was good in terms of taste, but it was greasy and very thin/floppy in the middle although it thickens a little and has a nice crisp towards the crust. The extra sauce is good but it’s probably not not thick enough to support it. Overall it’s a solid NY slice. I went with the square instead of the Sicilian since the restaurant said it’s the more popular (and so did my barber Danielle) but would be curious to try the Sicilian next time. Still pretty thick with a little bit of a greasy crispy, but the sauce is good/robust which is the hallmark of a good square. The cheese may be a blend of moz and American but more on the moz side? Bc it’s not quite a traditional old forge. The cheese is okay nothing special. Overall it’s a solid yet unspectacular spot. Bonus, Pat said the garlic parm wing bites here are really good, I’d probably try regular wings tho next time I’m in the area.
