@Matawan Patrizia’s in Matawan delivered a bit of a mixed bag. The pizza had a very noticeable flop lacking structure with parts of the pie undercooked and watery, which took away from the overall experience. That said, some of the undercarriage was cooked properly but unfortunately not consistent across the pie. The crust itself had solid chew and flavor making the overall taste of the pizza good — sauce, cheese, and dough worked really well together, and every bite had a balanced, authentic flavor profile. If the execution was a bit more consistent, this could’ve been a standout pie.
