Pizza Review
"Best thin crust pizza in Chicago"... No and yes. Far from the best, but as thin as it gets. I really wanted to love Pat's, but it's just okay. Pretty boring. The crust is crispy like a cracker, but even thinner. This is going to sound weird, but it almost tastes like puff pastry; a very smooth texture, yet flaky. The sauce leans sweeter than savory. The cheese really lacked in flavor, but the pepperoni tasted pretty standard. It's really hard to review something that didn't have any qualities stand out either good or bad. Some people prefer Pat's, because it's crust is much different than other spots, but I'll stick to a more standard (by my preference) thicker (than Pat's) thin crust pizza. It's work checking out though if you're into tavern cracker crust.
