Alrighttttttt we’re getting back in the groove folks. Back home from OCMD and running some errands in the good ol’ suburbs. I saw an 8.0 community score and of course...had to give it a go.
Unfortunately, I hate to be the guy that brings a place down a bit.... but while the pizza is good... it’s not 8.0 good. Let’s remember the 8+ shops are the best of the best. Pat’s opts for a rectangular style - doughy/crispy type of pie. I’m usually a big fan of “sauce on top” ...but there was something just a tad off in MY opinion and I couldn’t put my finger on if it was too many extra veggies invited to the party...or just their choice to use a more “sour” tasting tomato base.
Outside of the sauce though...I have zero complaints. The cheese was excellent and the dough was spot on... crispy and chewy at the same time...with great flavor.
USUALLY, I’m the guy trying to bring up some of the scores out here, but I have to keep it real at the end of the day. 7.5... and that’s a review.
**As always... I seriously appreciate all the follows and support! I’ll do my best to keep things rolling...but with 200+ reviews in/around the city, it can be tough to run into “new” places...especially during a never-ending pandemic! Talk to you guys soon.
