Patsy’s Pizza

Almost hit all the boxes needed. Had a very nice crisp to the crust and the sauce was pretty good overall. The only think I felt was lacking was the cheese. The flavor was good, but personally wasn’t a fan of the chunked mozzarella. Personally feel like this is the best pizza in this area

This pizza was an interesting one. If you’re looking for a very crispy and yet mild pizza than this will suit you. The cheese was pretty mild and the sauce had the typical Italian spices. Bland but good. I could see myself having this the go to pizza place if I lived close by

Back to back Ohio Valley square pizzas in WV today. I purposely left some room in my stomach after DiCarlo’s to try this place, and I’m so glad I did. The crust on this pizza is truly a work of art. It had amazing crunch and the edge pieces were particularly good. The sauce was super seasoned and zesty and provided a lot of great flavor. The cheese which looked a little weird to me at first was also pretty good. This isn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it is extremely memorable. If I’m ever going west again I will seriously think about making a detour to try this pizza again.

Crust is crunchy. Sauce is sweet. An OV classic.

Had this pizza since I was a kid, really loved by the Ohio Valley. Some people still call it Dicarlos! No Flop, crust was golden and crisp. Good amount of sauce and always got to go extra on the cheese. Got to show my hometown love!

Not sure how to rate a “novelty” pizza. This is famous in this area They cook the pizza then put a cheese crumble on the pizza to melt. Crust is good, sauce is plain. Cheese is a good blend, several flavors but this is not pizza. Worth trying but, impossible to rate vs. other pies. In the area it is fun. Locals love it and talk about it for the rest of their lives.

I’ve had pizza all over the country and this is still my favorite! The best!
