Amazing coal fired crust but the sauce and cheese is under seasoned. Glad I was in the area and didn’t make the trip just for this slice

Okay Frankie’s favorite apizza. The great Patsy Pizzeria, original location. Very good. Very lite. A little on the cooler side, if it was hotter I think I would put it in the 8s. But a little cooler it get the high 7s. Maybe I’m spoiled because I grew up on good pizza, so this didn’t blow my Joe Boxer’s off. But still very good. Is it a must have? I believe you should try every nostalgic pizza at least once. If I went in blind, and didn’t know it was a nostalgic slice, I’d be like “oh very good pizza” but I’d be shocked by where it’s from. This is your prototypical big rep slice, you always kind of leave disappointed with the hype. If Frankie had it today, he would still love it because Frankie was 102 pounds and was east to satisfy when it comes to pizza.

Had it delivered, so I could add some points if it was in the actual location. Solid pizza though. The flavor is great, a bit floppy, but the crust was crispy. It was bit greasy, but the sauce and cheese was delicious.

The middle was floppy and undercooked. Most of it was undercooked. The sauce as a little too acid for me. The crispy parts weren’t satisfyingly crispy they were brittle crispy. Cheese saved this from being in the 5s.

This place never disappoints, you think it’s a hole in the wall …. Omg it’s good
