the pepperoni slice was aight - decent flavor gets a bit ruined when you get to the dry, cracker like outer crust. square slice was fluffy with a tangy sauce. would be a flat 6 if not for the square.

tomato paste on dough with little to no flavor Oregano? Salt? What a joke of a slice. The square was good only because of its dough and those sesame seeds on the bottom! Wouldnt have a chance in NYC. Hipster Trash Pizza

The square hellboy slice (top left) is absolutely amazing. The dough is light and fluffy and perfectly absorbs the hot honey and sauce without feeling soggy. To top it off, the bottom of the slice is lined with sesames!!! The other slices are a bit mediocre so the square hellboy is always my go-to.

Solid pie. Not sure if slice shop has same quality as the sit down location. Hot honey was interesting.

There’s a ton of hype surrounding Paulie Gee’s and his Slice Shop. Because expectations are so high, I find this pizza to be a little overrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s very good; but it’s not even close to best in NYC good. First of all, the slices are HUGE. You definitely get a ton of bang for the buck. The dough is slightly above average, very firm, with almost no flop. The cheese to sauce ratio is near perfect; however, there is nothing special about either one. The sauce is solid, yet unspectacular, lacking any pizzazz. The cheese is fairly generic, with a light dusting of pecorino romano to give it a tad more flavor. I don’t know how, but the crust is somewhat crispy and also a tad rubbery; not the worst crust, but room for improvement. Overall, this is a very solid pie; but you can find several better pizzerias in Brooklyn alone. Because they offer vegan options, the Hipsters are always out here in full force, which leads to long lines and waits. It’s worth a try if you’re in the neighborhood, but I wouldn’t go out of my way...don’t believe the hype.

If you like heat get the hellboy. Hot honey and roni. It will blow your mind

Arguably the best square slice in the city, including PSP. Crispy sesame seed crust and bottom, amazing sauce to cheese ratio topped with crispy little ronis and hot honey for that sweet with a little heat kick. Slice got me through the pandemic

Truly great slice right here. Super thin with no flop and silky and smooth top crust that literally melts in your mouth. It wasn’t too salty and It wasn’t over greasy nor over crunchy. This is as nyc of a pizza as it gets. The dough reminds me of Sauce in the city as it just melts in your mouth and you barely have to chew. It’s super light and airy and is probably the best pizza in all of Williamsburg/Greenpoint. I have yet to try L’industrie which I’ve heard great things about but until further notice I crown this pizza king of Williamsburg/Greenpoint

Corona Quarantine Special Purchased raw dough from the slice shop and constructed the pizza at home. Bacon, Brussels, onion with mozz, cheddar, parm mix. Recommended!!
