Born and raised in New Haven Connecticut. I have been in the SF Bay Area since 2008. This is by far the best Pizza anywhere in the Bay Area! Dave get out here and give Pazzo’s a score. It’s legit New Haven style!

Fantastic New Haven-style pizza, which you don’t find much of in the Bay Area. Hidden gem.

Great presentation, charring, and taste. The undercarriage could offer a bit more support. I imagine this is about as good as the style can get outside of New Haven. They also benefit from being a carrier of Foxon Park soda.

Best pizza I had so far in the bay.

First time at Pazzo and first time having New Haven style apizza. Blown away by this pie. Incredible char, very crisp and flaky, and perfect cheese to sauce ratio. A lot of flip but I don’t necessarily dislike that. Finished this pie with the family and had to get another one to go.

I’m a die hard New Haven pizza guy from New England and this is easily the best pizza in the Bay Area that I’ve had! Pazzo’s owners are students of the New Haven apizza tradition (thin crust, flavorful sauce, pecorino, etc.). Monster 8.4 Bay Area score (best around here), probably about a 7.4 - 7.6 if it were in New Haven proper.

Solid. Wish it was more well done - if it’s cooked a little bit longer it’s probably in the mid to high 8s but a solid pie nonetheless

Very stiff crust. Not a huge fan of the pecorino. Toppings too oily. Tomato sauce was fantastic. Very New York style. I think the margarita would have been good.

Yet another fire pizza place down here, super flavorful and delicious.

The best pizza in the Bay Area and maybe even the best in CA. Great crisp, unreal char, little to no flop. The pizza was fluffy yet very crispy and the sauce was tangy. Must try if you’re in the Bay Area.

Finally, the search is over. Found probably the best or one of the best pizzas in the Bay Area. Closest to east coast pizza as it will get.

Best food in the bay. They totally nailed this cheese pizza. Perfect char, quality ingredients, and the hand crafted dough obviously has been perfected over the years. Highly recommend everyone checks out this new haven style if you haven’t already.

Absolutely the best pizza in the Bay Area by miles. Beautiful crisp and char while keeping an amazing flavor and not drying out. Closest thing to new haven apizza on the west coast maybe outside of new haven period. A must try if in the area.

Pazzo focuses on New Haven style pizza. Its paper thin and perfectly crispy. Anyone rating it in the 7s doesn’t know pizza because probably the best pizza in the bay. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the best pizza in California. It’s a must try if visiting the area or the Bay Area.

Potentially the best pizza in the Bay Area. Better than Tony’s by a mile. As close as you can get to Sally’s within a days drive. And no, don’t even mention places like Amicis. Incredibly light, unreal char, phenomenal undercarrage. Hands down best I’ve had after living on the west coast and east coast for years. In the Bay Area this is a 10. Adjusted for the rest of the country it’s an 8.9. Just do it.
