Peels On Wheels Pizza Garage

There’s just something about this pizza… second time having them and they do NOT disappoint. Perfect crisp, perfect ingredients, great cheese, great sauce, and all around amazing taste. Definitely the best pizza you can get in Western New York.

Best pizza in upstate ny, there is nothing that even comes close. Top 3 pizzas I’ve ever had, and I struggle to remember the other 2 with this one on the mind… It’s annoying how good this place is compared to any other option I’ve had upstate! Them being closed for summer vacation or me forgetting their normal days off, have both ruined a handful of trips to Rochester for me.

Nice looking artisanal pie served out of a small, otherwise disguised building. At $30, not a cheap purchase. Good rich tomato sauce could have been a little heavier. Used a couple different cheeses. Crust was crispy with a couple air bubbles, and topped with basil and olive oil. Yummy but not a nine. 8.2

Phenomenal pizza, best in Upstate NY and I will stand on that. Only reason I’m not giving it a 9+ is because it’s not a true NY Style pizza, definitely a Neapolitan. With that being said, the dough is immaculate. It is thin and crisp, but not too thin, so it still has a bit of chew to it. Perfect. The sauce is sweet but not overpoweringly so, which compliments the cheese blend perfectly. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients too, makes a huge difference. Overall, this is the best you’re going to get for hours around. Portnoy would really like it, but i think he would give it mid/high 8’s because he likes it a bit more tight/simple and NY style.

We don't get an undercarriage like this so close to Rochester ny, even the "local portnoy" eat local guy is a regular. I hope before your closing time Dave gets to taste your amazing cheese slice!!! Ps no worries I don't like pepperoni either ... MY guy Ryan does though that's how I know your gonna love it ! No flop, not too much cheese with the grease and just the right amount of sauce that says I Love you! That's how the Irish do it and how I know you are legit !

Dave Portnoy needs to go here. I believe that this place is one, if not the highest review by the community that Dave hasn’t went to yet. I got a plain and a sausage and it did not disappoint. Great sauce, great cheese, great crust.

Not for real avid pizza lovers! Overpriced and meh at best, a pizza made to look good, but lacks substance

Probably the most hyped and well reviewed pizza spot in Rochester. I think a pizza should be scored only based on taste and not price, but that rule has gone out the window because this is absolute highway robbery. $8 for one slice, with one topping, pepperoni. Would've gotten plain cheese but none available at 12:45. It's fine, not bad, just way overpriced and these apparent high quality ingredients im paying for, I can't taste. I feel bad but that's my review, underwhelmed and overcharged

Special pizza. Everything tastes fresh and the ratios are perfect. Light and crispy, not at all greasy. I can’t remember ever having had pizza this good. The house made blue cheese is unbelievable as well.

It's a very artisan pizza, so it's not my personal favorite. Still cooked beautifully and had good overall flavors.

I have to say this is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s very expensive. It’s like seven dollars a slice, but it’s definitely worth it. The cheese, the dough, the sauce, all top notch.

Peels on wheels is hands down the best pizza in upstate and dare I say ‘Down-state’ NY. Artisanal specials with the highest of quality ingredients. The classic NY style cheese slice is superb. Well done to Luis and Team for delivering phenomenal Service and World class products every single time we have stopped in.

Top quality ingredients. Bottom was fairly crispy with a nice soft top. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice little place.
