Penny's Pizza

By far the best pizza I’ve had in the Philly area. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. High quality ingredients. Sauce is on the sweeter side and the crust has some legit crunch.

Very different pizza, I am a fan. A little bit of a sweeter sauce but not too much good ratio of cheese and sauce. No flop, not my favorite type of Pizza but it was good. My fiancé said it’s her new favorite pizza and gave it a 9.4

Great amount of sauce but wasn’t as flavorful as I thought. Good crisp to the crust. Very happy to find this place.

Really unusual. Sauce is killer. To much flop. Cheese gets lost. Crust is crunchy and super crazy different. Worth a try.

It’s different, in a good way. Didn’t think I would like the sauce on top but it works. Great crust and really good taste with the sauce. Would try again.

This definitely teeters the scale of 7.9-8.1 pizza as is. Amazing (sweet) sauce, cornmeal crust, and tasty cheese. A red top pie that is elevated by the stand-out sauce Penny’s provides. The only thing holding this pie back from mid 8’s is it could use a little crisp on the bottom and the pizza can be a little too soupy & messy with excess sauce. Still one of the best local pizza places around this area.

I’m a fan of the cornmeal crust with the sweet sauce. Decent flop but the crust is crispy. Very good pizza

Sweeter sauce on top with some dried herbal notes and vibrant tomato tang. Mozzarella and something else like provolone and cheddar. Top heavy so yes, big flop but this style red top is like that. Cornmeal underside and a crispy outer rim that doesn’t have an airy cornicione. More like a boardwalk style than a NY.

Been coming here since I was young, friendly family owned. Different than a traditional style. Sweet sauce. Delish.
