Pepino's Restaurant

I had a friend who worked here in high school and we always used to get their Italian beef sandwiches, which are really some of the best in the region. Never had their pizza, so here we are 10 years later. It’s a blue collar pizza. This thin crust sausage slice is dense. The dough leans more toward a double dough thin than a tavern thin. Surprisingly not as greasy or sloppy as I anticipated, as everything held together very well. Lots of cheese and very good juicy sausage. I wanted more from the sauce either in flavor or amount. I missed it. Otherwise, this is a solid spot for pizza and/or Italian beef.
