Crust is incredible. Pizza dough was little too soft. Wish it was crispier but still good.

Golden slice doesn't do it for me... way too much bread. I was disappointed. 5.4 Originally. BUT I also had a slice and a half with basil and minced garlic🤤 the flavor with the sauce 👌🏽 saved Pequod's from a low score for me. I love the burnt crust, but the bread was doughy air and that was just disappointing.

Great sauce, the burnt back is amazing. The only complaint is that there is a lot of crust underneath, like a pizza bread. It taste great but maybe a little to much “bread”.

Its good, just doesn't have that punch I was expecting, per everyone's review. A tad overrated, but nonetheless decent.

Very solid they load up the toppings. Their signature burnt cheese back crust is really good. Perhaps a little doughy and could maybe use a little more cheese. The sauce is very good.

Well done, thick, cooked toppings, rich sweet sauce, high quality cheese....3rd degree burns in my mouth yummy

The crust is amazing. Had a nice taste to it but unfortunately they got the pizzas switched with someone else’s. Still good tho.

Burnt. Deep dish isn’t my thing and this pizza confirms it. Over cooked.

Very very good with a unique kick to its pepperoni. Always well cooked. If you like pan/Detroit style pizza this place is amazing. Would’ve been a higher score I’m just personally a thin crust guy.

Wildly overrated, too thick and too much bread. Lou Malnatis with butter crust is much better deep dish.

Going in blind.! First off let’s get one thing fucking straight. I don’t like deep fucking dish pizza.!. Ain’t my fucking jam. Never has been, never fucking will be. But respect for the people and them that do.. So, you know pepperoni, jalapeños, cheese, toppings ya da ya da ya da and all that bull shit. But I must say it’s a interesting deep dish. The sauce was something dark and rich, some tang but not to tomato chunky, like it stewed all day or something. Different to say the least. And this crust thing, very peculiar like a cracker crust not super doughy. Maybe a little bit but thick and pliable regardless. They have this signature burnt caramelized cheese crust on the outside and all crispy, blackened and shit, I must say, I dig it. Really did. It’s definitely different I must say. Cool small spot right in the neighborhood type of place where the locals are muttered under the breath “get the fuck out my neighborhood tourist” or “Get the fuck out’a my bar” will work too. Me half drunk coming in with all my Dodgers gear on after a win at Wrigley Field pissing off mother fuckers. Go fuck yourselves! Naw, seriously, everyone was super cool. Sweet place, nice staff. Go in, check it out, stop buy put you name down (no rez ) Still worth the wait. Beer selection sucked. No High Life? The champagne of beers! PBR, No Old Style is your local beer...come on man! Anyway. Put it in your face with a knife and fork like a ungodly heathen. Eat. Enjoy. Fuuck it!

The pan is the plan. Sauce is thick and savory. The crust is killer. IT IS NOT BURNT. It is caramelized. If you like meatballs, you deserve them on your pie.
