300 reviews!!!! What a ride, took the flight out to Chicago to celebrate starting off with the caramelized crust deep dish. Good crunch on the undercarriage while remaining pillowy and airy as well with great flavor on the outer edge. Cheese has great pull upon each bite but the sauce is we’re it’s at here. Sweet rich savory sauce load up the top of this pie and make each bite an explosion of flavor. For my first Chicago pizza I was really impressed, awesome place very friendly staff on a busy Friday night, if your around give it a shot!!!

Was hoping for a blow your socks Pizza but was disappointed. The crust was more like a Detroit style. Where the bottom was almost fried in the pan. Great crunch because of that. Good cheese pull. Sauce tasted like it was store bought. Almost something you would get from a box.

I love New Haven, NY, and Detroit style cheese pizza. I’m really not the biggest fan of Chicago deep dish…with one exception - this one. Pequod’s has the charred crispy cheese edges and a tangy smooth sauce that is its own style. Sure, it’s more of a pizza cake than a pizza pie. I get it…you can’t fold it…and you have to eat it with a knife and fork. But, this continues to be my favorite pizza on planet Earth.

Good taste overall. Sauce is on the sweeter side. Perfect crust on edges but the bottom is super soft. It’ll always be Thin crust>Deep dish. Worth the experience though

If you insist on turning your large intestine into an LA rush hour traffic jam, at least have the decency to go to Pequod’s. This is about as good as a lasagna-casserole Frankenstein can be. It’ll be a long wait, but it beats Giordano’s.

My first Chicago style pizza. More dough than I was expecting. More of just a thick crust. Still good taste though.

Very good deep dish. Crust was pretty fluffy but also crispy, which I liked, and the burned bit at the edge was fantastic. Tasty cheese and not so overwhelmingly much that it’s gross. Less oregano and brighter tomato flavor in the sauce would have brought it into the 8s.

Very unique Chicago pizza. Big fan of the caramelized crust. A little bit thicker crust and more filling. Restaurant itself me more of the mom and pop vibes. Great service!

The best deep dish I’ve had in Chicago. Far better than giordanos. Great sauce, great cheese and overall high quality ingredients.

Good crust good stuff, great pizza but the guy at the door lowered the score (bit of a dick)
