Late afternoon pizza review. I actually stopped in a few places that don’t offer slices and finally ran into Perri’s. I got pretty excited talking to the owner...been at this same location since 1975! You’d think you’re doing something right... unfortunately...and I hate to do it... but complete disappointment. It was obvious my slice has been cooked hours ago and the reheat completely torched the crust...which if it wasn’t overcooked, might have been the highlight. The sauce and cheese literally had zero taste and I’m now depressed after eating. I thought I found a gem...turns out...not the case. Tough.
