We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. Usually Federici’s in Freehold is where we go when we’re up this way…but friends said we should try this place as well.

We did, and boy are we glad we did.

We actually like the pizza here better than Federici’s, however, Federici’s still has that homemade creamy Italian dressing that the girlfriend loves, so we’ll still have that in the rotation.

Anyway we got the regular pizza with extra cheese. The crust was crunchy but the middle was not. Maybe we have to ask for well done next time?

It was still delicious and we are glad we ordered extra cheese. We also tried a vodka sauce small with extra cheese and a sweet marinara sauce with caramelized onions and extra cheese as well. They were all fantastic. This place is very good if you like thin bar style pies, we drove about an hour to get here. Great lunch!

However, the pro move is to go about a half a mile up the street to Local Smoke BBQ and grab a smoked chicken to have for dinner at home …. and poppers, you always have to get the jalapeño poppers at local smoke.
