It’s important to put this review in context, but the one thing Peter Piper has always done is be consistent. I’ve been having this pizza since I was three years old, and it has never changed. Three decades of childhood memories and excellence. Peter Piper used to be a real sitdown adult pizza place, complete with old time lamps over dim tables. With the introduction of shit holes like Chucky cheese, Papa John’s and Domino’s Peter piper had to pivot and become something that it isn’t. With all its changes it has managed to maintain the integrity, flavor and robustness of its pizza for decades. I’ve had the best pizza New York city and Chicago has to offer, and Peter Piper will always remain at the top of this ever expanding list, because having Peter Piper is like going back in time and discovering pizza for the first time all over again. I drop the score 2 points for the environment and so it’s not a rookie 10.
