A little hole in the wall spot. The owner (Pete) was pretty cool but the place was dead. Literally no entertainment in this place... just a few tables, the ovens, and the counter. Old school is an understatement but I had the feeling our man Pete is considering retirement lol. In terms of the slice it was just OK. Paper thin, no flop (thanks to the reheat)... the cheese & sauce combination wasn’t bad but it was a bit bland overall. Crust was almost too hard/crunchy. It’s far better than “Big Ass Slices” around the corner though.

New Yorker review: pizza was reheated for about 40 seconds so it’s basically cold. No flop, decent crisp. Crust has good flavor. Cheese distribution is on point. Sauce has good tang, not too acidic. Would’ve liked to try it hot, but not a bad slice. Probably would’ve gone up to a 6.8-6.9 if it was cooked better.

I thought this would be a good place based on the generally disheveled appearance of the restaurant since hole in the wall joints are usually great, but I was wrong. This pizza was hot garbage through and through. Floppy, greasy, cold, and lacking almost all sauce and flavor. A sad day for Philly which I hold in generally high regard for its pizza game!
