Lots of hype for this slice in the app. Got a good look to it, even though I'm not a fan of the square / sicillian style. Very doughy ) not much crisp, but had great structure. Sauce is good, if a bit bland. Overall a solid slice. Would go into the 7s if it had a little more cheese. I don't need a Hallmark movie level of cheese, but a little something is nice to know you're not just eating a roll with marinara sauce on it.

Thick....not light and airy. Very crispy. Sauce is flavorful. But the dough is solid, I like it a bit more pillowy and airy. Still decent for the area which everything else is just average at best.

Tried 3 the tomato regular and the buffalo chicken. Im a square slice guy from jersey. Great ingredients flavor and sauce. Also their wings were good as well

I’m a huge fan of Santucci’s Square pizza and have been to both locations in Philly. This is my first time at the one in Warminster and I wasn’t disappointed. Amazing sauce, crunchy crust, and good cheese. Loved the sauce on top. Torn whether it would make into the 8’s but didn’t want to give it a rookie score. Solid 7.9

Quality establishment. Family owned which is always a good sign. Not your traditional pie since it’s square pizza. The sauce is great and having the cheese underneath lets the sauce hit you first. Very good crisp all around but not burnt in any way. This is certainly one of the better spots in the area.

Crispy crust that’s fresh. Sauce on top of the cheese that gives you a very saucy taste. Good cheese and sauce flavors. All around very solid pizza.

No flop. Not a bug squee guy but this is the square slice if its not Picas.

As portnoy points out, it's always a good sign when family history plays into the equation. Santucci's was started in 1959 by "neighborhood people" who exemplify what you want when thinking of Philadelphia Italian heritage. So off the bat I knew the pizza wouldn't be a chain slice. Getting a personal pizza (they dont do slices fyi) of what barstool refers to as a grandma style pie, you hope the sauce will carry the slice in this format presented with super crispy crust and the right amount of cheese. Every slice is a corner slice so the crust should be significantly crunchy and the middle corner will noticeably cheesey. This is the best case scenario for this type of pie. The first bite shows that the sauce does indeed carry the pizza mild, balanced, highlighting well ripened cook tomato with just enough acidity balance. Not much zest in this one. Really a solid sauce overall. The cheese is good, you taste the quality and the ratio is right. At this point, it all comes down to crunch. The bottom has some crispiness to it where the dough meets the pan. But I found the 1/4" between the bottom and cheese to be just too doughy to merit a destination score. I'm really looking for a "snap" when I bite into it, All in all, it is in no way bad. If someone got me this pizza I would not be disappointed.
