Phil's Pizzeria & Restaurant

Really nice fresh flavor profile. The slice had a nice undercarriage, but lacked crunch, but was thin and light. I am sure this is a local go to for most, as it should be because the taste carried the score here.

This surprised me how good the regular slice was. It looked like it would be too cheesy but the crust was crispy enough to handle it. The other one was called Red Sicilian and also impressed me with its flavors and perfect crust.

Margarita was a 8.6, regular slice was a 7.6

The regular pizza is alright it’s not the best. Greasy, sauce has a tang to it, and overall it’s okay. I would get their specialty pizza. They’re much better than the regular.

Regular: Cooked very well. Sauce is delicious and goes well with the cheese. The slice is very cheesy so it has a fair amount of grease. 8.1 Upsidedown: not a bad cooked on the dough sauce tastes good. 7.5

Another very good local Long Island pizza place, nice looking place, too. Very cheesy, well balanced flavored sauce and good tasting crust.

Good slice, no “wow” factor

Another place I severely underestimated. I always thought the Phil’s in Massapequa was better but I enjoyed this a lot more. Got a regular slice and a margherita which was calling my name when I walked in. Regular slice had a little crisp and solid flop. Generous size slice, too. Margherita was also really good. Guy behind the counter was singing Christmas songs. Definitely coming back for a full pie.
