South side Classico no peppers on right. Kirkwood on left. Very peppy sauce. Great crust. Better than most Chicago places.

The pizza was a little odd for a deep dish. First off usually a deep dish would take 30 minutes or more to bake. This was out within about 20 minutes. Also it has a corn meal crust which I thought was somewhat bland. It did however have a nice crisp. We had pepperoni, Berkshire sausage and ricotta cheese on it. The sausage also lacked flavor but the pepperoni and ricotta were very good. Finally we opted to get the thin crust pizza sauce due to it being less chunky. The pizza had plenty sauce and it was flavorful. I also thought the overall temperature of the pizza could have been warmer. We did have the garlic knots for an appetizer and they were very good. Great garlic flavor and good amount of cheese filling. Would give those a 8.7.

Neapolitan has its own scale, Detroit style has its own scale, and deep dish should, too. This pie was on the high end of the deep dish scale. Sauce was great and the slices stayed together and could be eaten without fork/knife. Crust could afford to be a bit more oily/buttery.

The deep dish here is a great pie. The sausage was tasty and the cheese to sauce ratio was on point.

Great crust and just enough oil and grease. Great bite.

Good pizza and great service. Good fresh mozz, great sauce, but the crust is a little dry. Would recommend

Closest thing to Chicago Deep Dish in DC! Sweet sauce and good crunch on crust, thinner cheese amount than others but very good! Will come back again!

Light, very little flop. Asked for it well done but came out less than. Not bad.

Crust is perfect, flavors are well balanced and leave you wanting more! Highly recommend the central west end pizza with thin crust!

The best deep dish I’ve had in years

Zero flop and huge crunch. Great cheese flavor but the sauce is missing. Crust needs a bit more flavor too.
