One of the best pie’s in Hampshire. Easily the best pizza in Winchester, Neapolitan style with an essence of Britishness. You’re struck immediately with the high quality of ingredients. Solid undercarriage with some classic Winchester flop. One bite everyone knows the rules. Cheese and sauce perfection. The dough is good however you can taste the wholegrain flour. Huge crust, not a bad thing almost like a giant breadstick (Grissini) but soft In the middle. This can definitely benefit from the application of a dip. One nibble everyone knows the laws. Pi Winchester normally has an excellent array of specials including a cauliflower cheese pizza which would be my recommendation, due to current pandemic they were running a limited menu so the classic cheese was the alternative. They used to run a wood fired oven which would boost their rating into the high 8’s, regardless good char on the crust. Pi Winchester definitely worth the journey if you’re in the region.
