Picco Pizza & Ice Cream

Why does my pizza look it was leftover from yesterday. This is not extra crispy, or well done. Or whatever they specifically made sure to confirm with us upon ordering. I was really excited for this one. Sadly it was a major disappointment. One bite of the cheese and you’re left with a triangle bread stick. Ice cream was something to commend though.

Good crispness. Tasty crust. Sauce got good flavor. A bit too much sauce though in my opinion

Insanely good. High quality ingredients. Easily my favorite pizza place in boston. Only caveat is you have to ask for extra cheese and cook it a little longer if you want it to taste better. Try the ice cream you won’t be disappointed!

Dined in for lunch this afternoon. Ordered a large cheese and a small mushroom The 8.3 is for the cheese and bonus score of 7.4 for the mushroom. The pizza was cooked perfectly - no flop, great char and crispy throughout. nice, airy, crunchy crust. My only nits, and what kept my score from being being higher, are the sauce could’ve had a little more zing and it could’ve stood a little more cheese. Ingredients were fresh on both pizzas - would definitely come back when I’m in the area again. Saved room for the ice cream. the raspberry with the dark chocolate chips was very good. Nice little place - highly recommend.

North End Nationalist here. We’re in the South End today, and damn do I wish this place was in the North End. It’s as good as they’re saying. Deserves the monster score from Portnoy.

Tasty pepperoni but too much non melted cheese

Good consistency with crust and fresh ingredients.
