Piccolo Forno

One of the last places in Lawrenceville I’ve needed to try. This place is your classic small fancy pizza. I ate the entire pizza on the 20 minute ride home and I was still hungry. The pizza itself was pretty good. Not much sauce coverage until the outer edge. The sauce tasted unique with hints of basil coming from it which I enjoyed. The pizza had an even layer of cheese throughout. It tasted good, but certainly not spectacular. I’m sure the other Italian dishes at this place are worth checking out so I will have to check it out another time.

Good pizza, but not the best.

Thin, fresh mozzarella, light basily sauce. A true “Tuscany” look and taste.

Killer ingredients — speck, mascarpone, Burrata, mortadella. Right up my alley. But ... the dough wasn’t really stand out though.

Crust is good. Will return, good but not great

Excellent pizza. Quality ingredients, wood fired, thin crust. Pistachio pesto pizza is amazing

This was spot was soooo good about two years ago, not sure if they switched up the recipe or I just got a pad pie. Sadly pretty disappointed

Favorite Pie in the Burgh Fancy Za with unique toppings. That fresh dusty crunch on the bottom. Wood Fired, always fantastic.

Greasy fancy pants slice, would eat again but something is missing.
