Pie Punks

This was a good pizza. The flavor was decent, but nothing crazy. However, the texture of the cheese and dough was good. Each slice was thin and doughy. Overall I enjoyed it. I also liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.

The tang and spice in the sauce is unique and good. I think they toned down the spice a bit since the earlier review. Great crust - solid 7.7. If there was a bit more cheese and a little less focus on red sauce, I think this would be in the high 8s... no flop

To preface this review: the pie is good. My girlfriend (from NJ) says: The sauce is WAY spicier than you would expect from a tomato pie in Trenton, NJ. My mouth was on fire. However, I thought the crust was delicious and (under the spice) I could taste a true authentic tomato pie. My verdict: 6.0 -------------------------- Not being from Jersey (or the northeast in general), here's my review: It's a good pie. Soft yet firm crust, the sauce is flavorful and the cheese is perfectly melted. However, I agree with my girl. Too much of a spice to the tomato sauce. I love spicy foods, which is why my review is higher than hers, but it could've had a better review with a less spicy pie. My verdict: 7.2

Great crust, sparse on the cheese but the sauce is great and makes up for it. Solid slice. Not much flop.
