Piece Brewery and Pizzeria

Okay. This is a weird one. Quality all around. Made a mistake of getting toppings. Also- smaller is better. The bigger tends to flop. We got a white pizza with clams. It was 8.1. Go small. Go often.

Very good pizza. Stomach was sick post marathon when I tried it but I still wanted to try to eat more, I know it would be even better if I went back! Love the vibes of the place too since it’s a brewery

Have to put oregano, parm, Crushed pepper. Elevates the taste a lot to the 7.7.

Solid slice, perfectly cooked New Haven style, flavors are nothing special

Clam and garlic pie, artichoke, garlic and onion pie, and Margherita pie. 7.9, 7.6, 8.4 respectively.

Anyone who’s been to New Haven knows this isn’t quite up to snuff, but a very solid place regardless. I can at least admire that there are enough native Chicagoians with enough self-respect to take the L on the deep dish monstrosity.

Hot Doug’s atomic sausage pizza.

Crust was good. Parts were crusty parts were chewy. Sure was a little acidic for me. Even some bites tasted like there was peloton it.

The atomic sausage pairs with Italian sausage and pepperoni is a good combo. The too floppy crust kept this out of the 9’s.

Ngl I found this pic online I forgot to take one. Came in expecting to prove Dave wrong and give this an 8 something but I’ve come here to vent because as this was disappointing. It tasted good but super floppy and DROWNING in grease. It might have been rushed because we came in to pick it up early but still. Sat in the box for like a minute before we ate it so pretty fresh. Just kinda a floppy mess that tasted good but that’s it. The crust was great though. 7.1 is high. I will be back though, I just think they weren’t on their A game.

Amazingly firm crust. Sauce nice tangy flavor. If you are east coast you’ll love it. Tomato pie per another reviewer’s suggestion. I’m partial to sweet so does not reach 8. Execution is flawless despite being short staffed.
