Pierres Pizza and Deli

In my mind I’ve set a Dominos slice as the definition of mid. 5.0. Is this pizza better or worse than Dominos? Sadly, it’s a touch worse. Greasy af. Not appetizing at all. Threw it away.

Based on google reviews I was excited to try this pie. Many said it’s among the only true NY style in the area. Surprisingly, it was more doughy than anticipated. No crisp. Very floppy. Cheese and sauce were excellent but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed. That’s a review.

Decent New York style pizza. Flavor of the sauce was good. Cheese was decent. Not overly greasy which is what I like. Score would have been higher if the undercarriage and crust was a little bit more done. A little too much flop for me. Overall decent pizza.

Slightly above average. New York style. Floppy crust, not very crispy. Nothing wrong with it. If you are looking for a New York slice there arent many options, so this is probably your best bet in the area.

Best New York Pizza I have found in Akron so far! Love the sauce. Definitely worth the visit. The subs are awesome also!

Picture does not do this pizza justice. This is the best New York Style Pizza in the Akron area, hands down. Great tasting cheese and perfect amount. Sauce had a good tang and is delicious. A bit of grease, but not too much. Light, airy, crispy crust. New York flop, but not too floppy. Pierre owned a pizza joint in New York City prior to living in Ohio. Go get a slice from Pierre, you won’t regret it! 8.8, that’s a review.
