Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza – University

Saucy and cheesy. Good slice

Not quite a 7 on my scale. Great start, but could be much better. Slightly greasy

Was really craving a Portnoy style pie. Ordered it well done & lil extra sauce because they usually go a lil lite on it. Had a perfect crisp, very thin and little to no flop. Gotta order the 20" pie to get the good ratio. I really like Italian Gator for the best NYC style slice, but piesanos may be my new favorite for straight up Dave-style, cheese pizza.

They didn’t put sauce on half of my pizza. When I confronted them they offered me a free side of marinara sauce for it. I asked for another pie instead but they attempted to charge me for another one. I just left with my half sauce less pizza pie. Just pathetic.

Deluxe meatball pepperoni onion black olive mushroom. Sweet sauce no flop till the third slice.

Very floppy, very strong cheese flavor

Basic flavor, decent crisp. Not a fan of the cornmeal on the crust

Great look, medium flop, good sauce, cheese was pretty rough. If the creator of Chuck E. Cheese gave a little more effort, this is the pizza you would be eating.

Weird sweet sauce, under cooked crust. Olives were the best part.

The cheese is the best part about this. Sauce and crust are both alright. Overall, slightly above average for Florida pizza.

Decent pizza, definitely heavy. The dough was odd, crispy on the bottom and doughy under the sauce. Zero flop, great tang, complex cheese flavors. Great pizza, probably better when it’s not 94° and you have a thick layer of brewskis on.

Solid pizza and good crust topping throw it off need the cheese gold medal slice to make a solid score but overall good stuff if you’re in the area
