Today my body was in desperate need of grease and cheese following the previous night’s illicit and nefarious activities. Consequently my new potential protégé recommended one of the establishments with Pie in their name. The first thing that pops out to your taste buds here is the immaculate crust and wood oven flavor. The flop is aesthetically pleasing and meets a good standard. What the pie falters on however is its lack of gravy. With each bite you’re left with a slight confusion and disappointment; as you know just how much potential that pie could have. But all in all, it’s a strong pie and a worthy establishment.
