Pietanza's

Another stop on way back from Jacks AAU tourney in Schaumburg. Palanzas. Another pizza/grocery type of place. A well priced medium pepperoni $12-13). Kind of a thick thin (Chicago pan) but nice tasty pizza. Crust was nice, tasty and pillowy in the middle. Get to the edges and it kind of lost its appeal. Cheese was good. Sauce was very good and good undercarriage with zero flop. Really wanted to give this an 8 (Jack gave it an 8.1).

Best cheese/sauce there is around Here. Only bad part is the Pepperoni pizzas come very greasy.

Pietanza’s might be my favorite pizza in the area. The balance and flavor of the cheese/sauce is on point. The dough is thin and crispy but still has that slightly soft layer under the sauce. Decent prices for a family owned place too.

Nice crisp on the crust. The bake is good and the sauce is tasty. One of the best around.

Probably the best pizza I have had in the area. Fresh mozzarella and ingredients, nice crust, and sauce is good too. We tried the pastas that are also very good. 👌🏼
