Lack of crisp on the undercarriage turned this into a flop fest. Had to blot the grease down before hand. The zips sauce definitely kicked things up a notch, highly recommend trying with your slice here.

Order a specialty slice. It was so good had to order a pep and a cheese for a real score. Great place, great people, and great pizza!

Big slices like these are usually a gimmick, but at least there was some flavor to be found. Crust was standard but it paired nicely with the ‘Zip’ sauce that added a kick. Also, it’s very difficult to find parking here - the fact the town charges nearly $8 in a nearby lot is criminal.

On first glance the outrageously large pies look enticing, but don’t be fooled, this pizza is terrible. It’s pretty tough to find a bad pizza, yet here we are.

Very good pizza especially after drinking beer all day.. my last score was higher, but I give it a solid 7.3 Only reason score is not higher is because it’s a little greasy this time. Very good tho!

I am bumping my initial review up an entire point after visiting PIE.ZAA again. The crust was crispy, sauce zesty and I couldn’t get enough. The staff is also great and this is a great place for AVL. 8.1. (New) fair score.

Mostly pizza by the slice. A whole pie is $38 because they’re enormous. I like led my pepperoni slice more than the basic cheese which was kind of bland. Good crisp and minimal flop for such a large slice.

Monstrous slice! Sauce was great. Dough was really good. Slightly fermented (some leapording) which gave it a good crunch but still soft/airy. Definitely a good spot!
