Pinos La Forchetta Pizzeria

Everything about this pie looks, smells and tastes like a dollar slice pizza. The only problem? This pie costs $18. Dollar slice pizza masquerading as premium Brooklyn pizza; they took my money without a gun or a mask...well, they were masked 😷. Thick, heavy, doughy and cheesy...all the makings of generic pizza. Aside from being very soft, the dough lacks flavor. The sauce is like a watered down, soupy tomato paste, also void of much flavor. The cheese is as standard as it gets, way too thick and not terribly oily, but just enough to drip out the bottom. While the crust looks somewhat crispy, I assure it is just as soft as the dough. If this is the kind of pizza you’re looking for, save your money and grab a slice from a dollar spot.
